2000

In 2000, MASL was founded with the mission to drive India’s emerging computing era. As a manufacturer of computing devices, we quickly positioned ourselves as a key player in the tech landscape. Our early collaborations with industry giants such as Intel and Microsoft, alongside national projects for the Ministry of Defense and the Department of Telecommunications, laid a strong foundation for our growth.

2005

An Year of broadening Reach

By 2005, we had broadened our reach into IT services, delivering ground breaking projects such as 500 Interactive Digital Labs for schools under the Department of Education, Delhi, and implementing next-gen communication solutions for Reliance Industries

2006

2006 Onwards: Expanding Frontiers

With rapid national expansion in 2006, we took on major projects with central defense and security organizations, including Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Border Security Forces (BSF), rolling out a WAN Backbone Network that connected numerous border outposts to their headquarters. Our ability to deliver high-quality solutions, often ahead of schedule, established MASL as a trusted partner for the Indian government and defense sectors.

Between 2011 and 2020, MASL's growth surged as we became a leading provider of cybersecurity, network management, and system integration solutions. Notable achievements included the Govt of Delhi’s Transport Infrastructure project, smart class projects, and classified implementations for the Ministry of Defense. By 2020, our strong relationships with Fortune 500 companies, combined with our ability to outbid larger competitors, resulted in a sustained growth across all sectors.

Varinder Singh Jawanda is a visionary leader and a pioneer in the fields of IT Infrastructure, System Integration, and Digital Transformation. As the Founder and CEO of MASL World, he has played a pivotal role in steering the company’s journey from its inception in 2000 to becoming a nationally respected technology infrastructure organization.

His leadership has positioned MASL World strongly within India’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, particularly through the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects across the country.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from RVCE Bangalore, a prestigious engineering institution that laid the foundation for his technical depth and entrepreneurial mindset.

He later earned a Doctorate in Business Administration, reflecting his advanced expertise in strategic leadership, organizational growth, and enterprise-scale decision-making. This combination of engineering rigor and business acumen has enabled him to successfully bridge technology execution with long-term business vision.

He began his career in the technology industry with leading organizations before establishing Millennium Automation and Systems Limited during the Y2K crisis—a period of global uncertainty for the IT sector. Initially focused on the manufacturing and supply of computing products, he strategically transitioned the company toward IT Infrastructure and System Integration services, laying the foundation for sustained and scalable growth.

Under his leadership, MASL has evolved into a national leader in IT Infrastructure and System Integration, known for its commitment to quality, reliability, and timely execution. The company delivers complex, large-scale projects across diverse sectors, serving Indian utilities, government bodies, public and private enterprises, and defense organizations with secure, resilient, and scalable technology solutions.
